What do you want? Where do you want to go?
And just as importantly, how do you get there?
When you’re overwhelmed, getting your bearings can be tough. Making decisions? Even tougher.
Sometimes, everything seems so chaotic that you just feel like giving up. If only you weren’t alone – if only you didn’t feel like nobody really understands.
But I do. I get it. There’s hope, and there’s help.
You don’t have to figure it out by yourself – let me help.
Together, we’ll create a therapeutic space where you feel safe, heard, valued, and comfortable practicing vulnerability.
There are no expectations about how you show up for therapy. We’ll take it day by day, session by session.
You want something more – something better. I’m passionate about working with clients just like you, who want to take active steps to improve their lives.
As we work together, I’ll help you learn how to feel your feelings, identify how you physically experience your emotions, better understand your patterns, create healing experiences, and reconnect with your true self.
Let’s explore how we can work together to help you slow down and make sense of your world, while getting back your sense of confidence and control.
ABOUT ME
Where My Heart Is
I founded Mohala Counseling & Wellness to work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and self-esteem issues – and there lies my primary experience.
Because I’m passionate about the intersectionality and healing relationship between the mind and body, I acquired certificates in nutrition science and yoga as therapy to further my knowledge on the importance of physical health and nutrition and their impact on overall mental health.
Nuts and Bolts
I received my bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Hawaii in 2010 and my master’s in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern in 2015.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor based in Massachusetts and a licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina.
When I’m not working with you…
I enjoy a good morning routine, walks in nature with my dog Kona, spending time with friends and family, traveling to new and familiar places, reading a good book, and navigating first-time motherhood.
